Badollet House
Bed & Breakfast
The Badollet House, located at 310 North Washington, was purchased by Ed and Jody Smalley in 1994. This classic style home with its Italianate ornamentation was built in 1854 for Howard and Tabitha (Pace) Badollet, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. At the time it was purchased, the
restoration/renovation process of the Badollet house had just begun.
Three years later, with the major work nearing completion, the
Smalley’s opened the home on a limited basis to provide special
occasion dinners, celebrations, and business meetings.
Featuring period décor with contemporary conveniences, the home will accommodate groups of 20-50 for special events and has two rooms available for Bed and Breakfast. Larger groups can be accommodated in the special garden area that has been created to provide the perfect setting for a special event. Situated alone on a city block near downtown Salem, the Badollet house and its grounds provide a convenient location and quiet atmosphere to host private groups or overnight stays.
