About us... The Salem Tourism Board is a volunteer organization comprised of City Council Appointed Salem residents interested in promoting our fine city as a tourist spot. The Salem Tourism Board meets on the second Monday of the month at Salem City Hall in the City Council chambers. Meetings begin at 7:00pm and are open to all! A typical meeting involves tidying up old business and reviewing Grant Requests from organizations seeking funding for projects and/or events designed to help bring visitors to Salem. All of the board's endeavors are supported by our four local motels and our one historic bed & breakfast.
