For those of you who have been checking out this site recently, you
may have seen the Potus WanNabe Multi-Cache listed on our caches page.
Well, it is officially planted.
Although a dummy
cache has been in place for a little while now, the official cache
is in place and ready for hunting. As of this minute, we are
still waiting for the cache to be approved by
GeoCaching.com,
but since the Illinois Administrator helped with the technical side
of this cache it should be just a formality that we're waiting on.
This is our
first Multi-Cache to hide...what a lot of work! Although it
has been very time consuming to put together, it has certainly been
a learning experience and quite a lot of fun to boot. To make
this cache extra special, we have hidden our first travel bug too!

That's it for
this entry. Short & Sweet.

UPDATE:
Bocce
Crew 42 has
struck again! At about 5:10pm Luke from the 'Crew' made
his way to the final destination of the
Potus WanNabe Multi-Cache and found the loot! This was
his third trip out to the location but he found it fair and
square. I was on hand to witness the event but didn't
offer any assistance in the find. According to his emails
from earlier today, the crew found the area a few nights ago but
tree cover and darkness were a bit tough to overcome. They
did find a complete deer skeleton and a couple of 'herbal'
plants someone was cultivating in a couple of 2-Liter Soda
Bottles. They called the police to investigate and
apparently had a tough time explaining to the officer why they
were foraging off the beaten path of this particular area to
begin with...they got through the ordeal, but had to can the
cache search for the day due to darkness. Anyhow, CONGRATS
TO
BOCCE CREW 42!
