Well, it's been about a month since my last post here. We have yet to set out on an adventure/misadventure. Life has been extremely busy to say the least. LOTS of relatives in and out of town, we worked a July 4th festival in our local park (doing concessions), all that combined with 2 to 3 of Slick's baseball games per week have kept us doing everything but caching.
As you may have been able to tell, I have done quite a bit of work on this site. Updated every page on here in the last 24 hours. Included pictures of 'Our Gang', updated the 'Our Gear' page, and continued tweaking the formatting here and there. Hopefully you'll find it easier, and more enjoyable, to surf around the site. Yesterday I had the rare opportunity to visit with a couple of cachers as they were in search of our 'Home Sweet Home' cache. 4x4_XJ and his dad found their way to our cache. Nice guys! They had their dog with them but didn't get to know him/her since she/he stayed in the truck. They had been caching for a good part of the day and had trekked from Flora, Illinois (about 45 minutes away). They're only a week into the GeoCaching scene, but have already found 6 caches! We're hoping to get out this week or next weekend to find some caches, but with the impending rain from Hurricane Dennis fast approaching, I don't know if we'll be able to make it or not.
