| | The Adventure Begins...Again! | June 12, 2005 |
I first discovered the sport of GeoCaching in April of 2004. Mary G., one of the office workers at the car dealership where I used to work, had told me about some friends of hers who use their GPS to track down hidden treasures all over the country...kind of like a big treasure hunt. I thought that sounded pretty cool and wanted to find out more. She happened to remember the name of a web site where I could find out more; I made a b-line from her office to mine to find some place called GeoCaching.com. Due to the crazy schedule and mood swings of the owner of the dealership I worked for, I had done nothing more than join the community...didn't have much time for getting out on the 'trail'. Well, here I am more than a year later...away from the dealership...trying to get a small business going...enjoying camping with my family...and now ready to get on the 'trail'. As my RhinoGang (D-Cat, Slick, Spike & Squirrel) and I begin our GeoAdventures I will try to stop by here and make notes of our journey. HOWEVER, as mentioned, I am trying to get a brand-new small business out of my head and into reality...this may cause updates, and/or caching, to move along slowly...we'll see.
