Band Showdown Overview
- $30 entry Fee per band (at
least 3 people)
- Bands will perform 3
selections (may change upon number of entries)
- Bands will be asked to be in
the Bluegrass Genre of style
- Judging
will take into account singing, playing and overall entertainment
value (judging forms will be posted later on web site
- A panel of a minimum of 3
judges, with known reputations for their Bluegrass music knowledge,
will over see the event
- Three place winners will be
paid, 1st prize $1000, 2nd $200, 3rd
$100 with place winners having the opportunity to book at the next
year’s festival.
